Turkey Burgers

Well wow, what a great day, feeling better, no headache and had a great workout partner. Today I worked out at lunch with my friend Teresa, at the end of this post you will find the workout that we completed!  wow it was hot and sweaty in here!!!  But it was a great workout and I thank Teresa for joining me for work out and lunch! :)  I made us a lunch of Turkey Burgers, grape tomatoes, and fresh mozzarella cheese.  (A whole other lovely lovely ingredient I love to incorporate into my meals!)
Ground Turkey Burgers:  I made these this morning with 1/2 pound of ground turkey, 1 tsp of olive oil, pinch of salt, large pinch of pepper and chopped fresh parsley.  Combine all ingredients well in a bowl.  Form into very flat patties so they will cook quickly.  Cook about 3 minutes on first side 2 minutes on the second side and let them sit after you take them off the heat.  If you overcook, they will be hard and dry.
I usually serve these with something fresh, maybe an arugula salad, today it was grape tomatoes and fresh mozzarella slices. 

The workout today:
This is a timed workout, so you save the workout and do it again after a few weeks to see if you can improve your time.
100 skips with jumprope or high knees in place
100 lunge/kicks (50 each side) - you can do these weighted or not, I use 2 15 pound dumbells
100 skips with jumprope or high knees in place
100 squats - weighted using 2 15 pound dumbells - or not
100 skips w/ jumprope or high knees in place
25 full regular crunches
25 v sit crunches/left
25 v sit crunches/right
25 bicycles - slow knee touching elbow at the top of the movement.
Of course anytime you work out you need to warm up and cool down/stretch all used muscles.
Don't sweat too much.  Our time today was 26:39.  workout only time.  Love you all!!  Enjoy!!
