Ok, well I came home, worked out and walked the dog. Meanwhile my mind is continuing to contemplate the saucy side of greek yogurt and the sweet side. I made the Greek Yogurt 'n honey mixture posted earlier and have put it in the freezer. I'll check in tomorrow morning with results. ** p.s. also dipped a few apple slices in the yogurt and honey mixture. Oh my gosh, the richness of the yogurt, rich sweetness of the honey and the crisp tart/sweet of the apples, beautiful and a must try for any healthy diet. Try to obtain local honey whenever you possibly can.
I just happened to have some fresh strawberries so I put some fresh sliced strawberries in the honey/greek yogurt mixture for a snack and wow was it lucious! Remember to slow fold greek yogurt when blending! p.s. my son just walked by and said I'm wierd!! I said, yeah, "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree." Tough comeback right! ...not lol.

SAVORY GREEK YOGURT SPREAD or DIP: Also experimented tonight with a savory, spicey greek yogurt mixture! I combined Boars Head Deli Mustard and mixed it with Greek Yogurt and salt and pepper. Wow it was yummy I took some of my length sliced peppers I made for my wrap and dipped it in the mustard spread and wow, it was smooth like a sour cream dip and savory like a salty dip, but without the fat and sodium but wow good. Try it! It was just good with the right amount of bite!! But made my wrap with lean roast beef and yogurt sauce with mustard! So so good. Add some veges of choice, like the peppers and you've got a wonderfully healthy wrap for dinner!
