Good Morning everybody, from the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. It is beautiful and the people are really wonderful here. Friendly and warm, this has started out to be a wonderful little break for me. The day today, as you can see at right, is cloudy, but hopefully it will blow over! I have been told about this little place around the corner called tojuana's (towanna's). Apparently they have the best tacos on the planet, so I'm heading over there for lunch and will give you guys a full report.
Dinner last night was at a little restaurant on the beach and we ate on the outside deck right by the rocky beach. The waves were hitting the rocks and flying up 25-30 feet in the air aided by these southern blowing wind gusts! It was really dramatic and romantic. I guess that wind brought us the stormy weather we're seeing this morning. That being said it was super breezy last night and I was unable to tag my camera along with me out on the restaurant deck, but we had a really tasty Seafood Paella. A beautful dinner by the sea. I will be taking camera today along for lunch!
Tomorrow we're going to the huge radio telescope that they have here, from the movie Contact? Are you guys familiar with that movie, one of my favorites, and I cannot wait to see the big telescope in the middle of the lush green rainforest. After that we are heading to the caves, and then a local guy told us about these super small oysters that they have at roadside stands. We're going to try to find them!! I'll check in later. Have a great day everybody! hugs
