My New Favorite Snack

Well, between , my braces and participating in the Metabolic Effect 8 Week Female Fat Loss Program (an online program to educate and guide you through female fat loss, considering peri menopause, menopause, pcos, and the simple fact that we are different than men at different times of the month) I am having a tough time figuring out what to eat.  Basically cutting way down on starchy carbs is the name of the game, basically.  (Check out the Metabolic Effect website for more info, or "like" them on facebook for bunches of really useful diet and exercise information.)
So, tonight I want something sweet after my sauteed zucchini, corn on the cob (not allowed had 1/2 cob) left over flank steak and one over easy egg, dinner.  Plus I feel like I didn't quite get enough protein.  So I break out the GREEK YOGURT, hmmm what else is in the fridge, that IS allowed, pears.  I had one cup of pears, I emptied out the juice and plopped them on top of my greek yogurt.  Hmmm. needs something else.  Cinnamon.  Teaspoon of Cinnamon, hmmm needs something else.  1 packet of Stevia.  Wow, it was like eating apple pie.  I LOVED it, perfect ending and I'm definitely going to the store to grab some more pears in cups to take to work and have with my greek yogurt.  VOILA MY PEAR & GREEK Yogurt Pie

**note remember to get greek yogurt that has LESS THAN 5 Grams of Carbs.  Keep looking, you'll find it.  Otherwise you're just adding in more bad sugar.

**STEVIA... if you haven't checked out Stevia it is an all natural, no calorie sweetener.  You can get it in packets, or in loose form.  I never have regular caloried sweetener anymore.  I use Stevia in coffee, in my protein shakes, in my smoothies, anywhere where you might add a spoon full of sugar!
